“The Regional Is Coming! The Regional Is Coming!”
Calling all Unit 120 bridge players! Never will you have a more convenient place to try to earn those coveted gold points than in Scranton during the first week in March.
That’s when our Tournament Chair Ray Depew and his talented team of volunteers will present the Steamtown Regional at the Scranton Hilton (see schedule elsewhere on this site as well as in latest “4 Spot”).
There are flighted knockouts all week and special sessions daily for intermediate/newcomers. Get your partner and teammates together now and make your plans.
If you’d like to help, volunteers are needed 1 ½ hours before each session for various tasks. All desks are closed during game times, so you won’t miss a hand. Let me know when you can help (408-9821).
Our Unit Tops in District 4 Our club directors are to be commended for pushing the importance of ACBL membership, active ethics and zero tolerance. Please thank your local director for all he/she does for the betterment of bridge in Unit 120. And my personal thanks to George Marcy for hosting and maintaining our Unit website.
